Legal Byte is a virtual law practice that provides legal advice to some of the most innovative emerging companies and market leaders in Australia.
We work closely with our clients and form part of their extended team. Our focus is always commercial - we learn our clients’ businesses and industries and offer strategic and pragmatic advice that supports their business objectives.
We act with integrity and in our clients’ best interests at all times. If we don’t have the required expertise to ensure that you get the best results, we will help you find a specialist who is better suited and, if required, help manage that engagement on your behalf.
Our Fees
We tailor our legal support to match each client’s project scope and budget. Our pricing structure will generally be based on the following:
Hourly Rate: We offer a competitive hourly rate which will only apply to time spent working directly on a client’s matter. We do not invoice for time spent on consultations, reading emails and other administrative tasks.
Capped Fees: In many circumstances we cap the legal fees for a project. This is not a fixed fee – we do not over-bill clients if we spend less time on a matter than initially scoped.
We strive to keep our pricing structures as transparent and as customisable as possible. Payment plans are also available upon request.

Our team
Robbie Behrad
Robbie has over a decade of experience having lived and worked in Adelaide, Melbourne, Sydney and London. He has worked at global law firms, multi-national banks and large technology companies before starting Legal Byte in 2018.
Robbie holds a Bachelor of Commerce and a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) from the University of Adelaide.
